Developer Relations
Jake Hulberg
I translate complex systems into ideas people can actually understand. Building bridges between infrastructure and humans.
About
From curiosity to code
I didn't start in tech. I started by trying to understand people.
In college, I studied political science, languages, philosophy, and psychology. I learned Spanish, traveled, and spent years teaching because I was drawn to how people think and how complex ideas become real-world outcomes.
That curiosity led me into IT — starting in support roles where I learned how systems actually fail. As I moved into infrastructure and cloud work, I gravitated toward explaining systems, mentoring teammates, and turning confusion into clarity.
Developer relations became the natural next step.
Now
What I'm building
Right now, I'm working in developer relations — building, breaking, and explaining modern infrastructure. Hands-on projects, documentation, and educational content focused on clarity over complexity.
